Who are we

Hi guys, welcome to the site and thanks for reading my bio. I have been hairdressing since 2005 and am still as passionate about hairstyling as I was at the start. I’ve always had a thirst to keep learning and taking on new challenges, and have completed many qualifications over the years. The salon, my team and our wonderful clients are extremely important to me and I am always striving to create a comfortable, welcoming and vibrant environment for everyone.

A bit about my career – I learnt the trade by completing an apprenticeship, levels 2 & 3, and have always been salon based. I then went on to complete my ‘Master Colour Expert Award’ with Wella which took my knowledge of colour to another level. After a few years managing a salon for another company, I decided my next challenge was to set up my own and Belle Hair Boutique was born.

Kira has been with the salon for a few years now. She completed her apprenticeship with us in 2017 and has really flourished over her time with us earning herself a promotion to Creative Stylist. She is an extremely popular stylist due to her bubbly nature (and pretty much knows everyone in Romsey!) and amazing balayage skills!

“I have been a fully qualified hairstylist since 2017. I completed my apprenticeship at the salon and am pleased with my progression over the last few years. I really enjoy creative colouring, particularly balayage, and love cutting short hair – short doesn’t mean boring! I love making my clients feel good and watching them walk out the salon with a smile on their face.”

Clare joined the team in 2016 and works part time at the salon, juggling single-motherhood and being an awesome hair stylist! She is one of the kindest people you could ever meet and always brightens up everyone’s day in the salon. She gives her clients and every service her absolute all and always encourages people to try something new, no matter how big or small.

“Hello everybody, just want to say I really love my job at the salon and working with all you lovely people. I never get bored of doing hair and I love to inspire my clients to do the things they’ve always thought about doing but have never felt confident enough to. I do most aspects of hair in the salon and aim to progress on to hair extensions over time. My passions lie with balayage, creative colours and festival/bridal hair.”

Colleen joined the team in 2024 and is qualified to a level 3 standard. You can find her in Belle Hair on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and The Coven on Fridays and Saturdays. Her extra qualifications include Brazilian blow drying and hair extensions. Colleen excels in alternative hair colours and her ability to interact with her clients.

“I love working between both salons and getting the experience to work with a wide variety of clients and stylists. I strive to always go one step further for my clients to help them make the most of their hair. I love playing around with vivid and dark colours.”

Libby joined the team in 2024. She is a level 2 qualified stylist and is currently embarking on furthering her skills completing her level 3 advanced hair dressing. She is qualified to also do hair extensions and Brazilian blowdries.

“I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing but my speciality is doing blondes, extensions and long hair! That’s where my passion lies. Working with a larger team is amazing as we all learn so many new skills from each other”.

Meet Chloe-Anne. She initially joined the salon as our Saturday helper and within no time was offered the job as our apprentice hair stylist. She is now qualified and is very quickly building her column up with lots of regular clients.

“I absolutely love my job. My favourite things to do are creating vivid colours and working with a variety of clients.”

Sasha is our self-employed in house nail technician. She offers Biab and Gel manicures and nail art, as well as Gel-X extensions. There is opportunity to combine your nail appointments with your hair appointments – just give us a call to arrange.
