Our Commitment to Accessibility

I am incredibly excited to share some fantastic news with you. Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of our community, we have installed two new accessible basins at our salons: one at Belle Hair Boutique and one at The Coven.

This project was a dream of mine, and your support has made it a reality. Through community donations, a wonderful raffle, and a special fundraising evening, we raised over £2,000. This overwhelming support has allowed us to create a more welcoming and inclusive space for everyone. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Enhancing Your Salon Experience

We’ve now installed two new basins, each designed to meet a specific need:

• A Wheelchair-Friendly Basin at Belle Hair Boutique: This is the first of its kind in Romsey. It allows us to comfortably and safely care for clients with mobility challenges, ensuring a dignified, comfortable, and relaxing experience for everyone.
• A Neurodivergent-Friendly Basin at The Coven: We’ve also added a basin to our Romsey Coven salon to support clients who are sensitive to light and sound, or those who simply prefer a more private and calm environment. This space is perfect for people with sensory sensitivities, those undergoing chemotherapy, or anyone who needs a quiet, private appointment.

These basins are more than just equipment; they represent a significant step toward making our salons—and our community—more inclusive.

We still have a little more to do! The remaining funds will go toward converting a third basin at Belle Hair Boutique to be fully accessible. This will allow us to offer even more flexibility and support to our clients.
